Arsenal
goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is in talks with Arsenal for his future after his poor Premier League season in London.
Szczesny
who failed to impress enough in the recent season has already told that he doesn’t
want to leave Emirates Stadium. But it would be Arsene Wenger who might sell
him to buy a World Class keeper.
The
25-year-old was not a regular in the Premier League but he was the top choice
of Wenger in the FA Cup. He kept a clean sheet in the final against Aston Villa
last weekend.
Szczesny
has been linked after his failure in the Premier League. However he told talkSPORT that he will see what the boss
decides regarding his future.
The
Poland international only made 17 appearances in the Premier League for the
Gunners this season. However, he featured nine times in the Cup.
David
Ospina who took the role in the EPL might become a second keeper if
a new world class keeper is on the way.
Arsenal
have eyed several top keepers including Chelsea’s Petr Cech who is reportedly closing
on a move to Arsenal. While, Real Madrid veteran Iker Casillas was once one of the favourites
of Arsenal’s boss Arsene Wenger.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are also eyeing Cech’s situation.
