Serie
A giants Juventus have signed midfielder Roberto Pereyra from Udinese,
according to their official website.
Pereyra
spent last season on loan at the Serie A champions and after his impressive
displays the Italian side decided to seal his deal on permanent basis.
The
Argentine midfielder scored four goals in 35 games for the Turn club last season.
Recently, the deal was confirmed by the Serie A side. The fee reported is around 14million
euro which would be paid in the next three years.
The
24-year-old has signed a four year deal.
Juventus stated: “Juventus Football Club can announce that Roberto Maximiliano Pereyra
has joined the club on a permanent basis from Udinese.”
Pereyra
played three seasons at Udinese before deciding to join Juventus. He made more
than 80 appearances for Udinese since his move from River Plate in 2011.
Meanwhile,
it is expected that Pereyra has been signed as Arturo Vidal’s replacement as the
Chilean is keen to move to Premier League.
Arsenal
have been keepings tabs on him who is currently playing in Copa America.
While,
Juventus have made Pereyra as the fourth summer signing after Sami Khedira, Paulo
Dybala and Mario Mandzukic deals.
Mandzukic
was signed recently from Atletico Madrid. The fee paid for the Croatian striker
is around €19 million. The
29-year-old signed a long term deal earlier this week after passing a medical.
