Arsenal
are reportedly keeping tabs on Napoli full-back Faouzi Ghoulam for the summer
move, TalkSport confirm.
The
reports revealed that the north London side are favourites to sign the full-back
Faouzi Ghoulam from Napoli in this transfer window.
The
Algerian has also been targeted by Manchester United and Real Madrid. But
Arsenal are expected to seal his deal soon.
The
24-year-old who played 38 league games for Serie A side last season is rated at
£9million and SkySports believe that the Gunners are ready to meet the
demands.
Last
season, Arsenal played with Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs but both of them
failed to cement their place. Despite of having two fine left-backs Arsene
Wenger is keen to add more competitions for the full-back role by signing Ghoulam.
On
the other hand, Real Madrid new manager Rafael Benitez who worked with him in
the past few years while managing Napoli is keen to team up with him once again.
Real Madrid are already in need of a full-back and it is also reported that
versatile defender Sergio Ramos is also expected to leave the Los Blancos for
Manchester United this summer.
Meanwhile,
Chelsea and Manchester City are also keeping tabs on his situation.
