Tottenham
Hotspur are planning to fight Manchester United for Southampton full-back
Nathaniel Clyne, as per Telegraph.
Man
United have been targeting the full-back for the past few months. The Englishman
who plays as a right-back for the Saints is also planning to leave the club
this summer.

Spurs
are now said to be interested in the 24-year-old defender and will be making a
bid for him in the next couple of weeks. While on the other hand, Man United
are also keen to seal his deal as boss Louis van Gaal has been suffering from
right-back problems.
Clyne
whose contract expires next summer will be offered a new deal by the Saints, Southampton
director of football Les Reed is hopeful that he will sign a deal, however the reports claim that the
player has no plans to seal nay new deal.
Les
Reed told the BBC that he is
confident that this issue will be resolved soon. He is discussing with the
player and will come with a positive.
Southampton
manager Ronald Koeman claimed that his player has only 10 days to decide his
career. He will have to sign before the end of this month.
Clyne
is a regular player for the Saints for the last couple of years. He has netted
twice in 34 Premier League games so far this term.
