Manchester
United boss Louis van Gaal has given injury updates on the following players
ahead of the Premier League clash against Crystal Palace tomorrow.
The Red Devils who are fighting to finish on the fourth spot might be without few players
for the remainder of the three Premier League games.
Van
Gaal confirmed earlier today that midfielder Michael Carrick has been ruled out
for rest of the season. The Englishman suffered an injury last month during a Premier League game against Manchester
City. He has missed the three defeats against Champions Chelsea, Everton and
West Brom in the league.
LVG told MUTV: “Carrick is not available, it was more heavy than we thought.”
Meanwhile
there is some good news for the United fans as Luke Shaw has returned from his
minor injury. Also, centre-back Jonny Evans is back but will not start as the
boss said he doesn’t have match rhythm.
Another
defender Marcos Rojo is back to full fitness along with youngster James Wilson
who was out with illness. The boss added that James Wilson could start from the
bench.
Full-back
Rafael is the only defender who is out now.
Manchester
United need only five points from their last three games to seal the fourth
spot. They will face Arsenal and Hull City after the Palace game.
