Harry Kane, the Spurs star player of this season and the winner of PFA young player of the year has been exceptional in the Premier League. He has 20 goals so far this season.

The reports revealed that the Englishman is on top of the transfer list of Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal.

The Red Devils already suffering with striking problems, Radamel Falcao has failed to shine in the Premier League and Robin van Persie will be 32 if coming August.

The Untied who need a point to confirm their Champions League spot are keen to bolster their squad next season. Louis van Gaal is hoping to land a striker, a right-back, a central defender and a central midfielder this summer.

United have already agreed to sign winger Memphis Depay from PSV but are also likely to sign a goal machine who can add more than 20 goals a season. The 21-year-old signed a long term deal earlier this year but the United boss is keen to get him this summer.

The Red Devils are planning to pay around £45million for Kane who recently featured for Spurs new kit for next season.
