Chelsea
goalkeeper Petr Cech is likely to prefer a move to Arsenal as the reports revealed
that the Blues veteran is confident to become Arsenal number one goalkeeper
next season.
Arsenal
boss Arsene Wenger who has been targeting the Blues veteran is finally set to
complete the deal as the goalkeeper has hinted a move to the other side of
London.
The
North London side are planning to seal the deal for a fee around £10 million,
according to Daily Star.
The
Gunners current stoppers David Ospina and Wojciech Szczęsny have not been
consistent for the Gunners. Szczęsny
lost his place earlier this season while summer signing Ospina is still not a
World Class keeper.
The
32-year-old who will turn 33 in the next few days still have the quality to
become a regular keeper. Cech
is keen to get a club where he can get regular football and Arsenal is likely
to be a fine destination for the Czech international stopper to enjoy his
ending days of his career on high.
Cech
has also been linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Roma but the Blues player
wants to remain in the Premier League.
While,
Real Madrid who have been also eyeing him are now going to sign Manchester
United stopper David de Gea.
