Premier League outfit Arsenal are targeting Bayern Munich German midfielder Mario Gotze for the summer move, according to English reports.
The
Metro reported that the North London
side are keen to sign Mario Gotze from the German champions this summer as the
boss Arsene Wenger looks to strengthen his side for the next season.
The
reports further claimed that the French boss has launched an offer for the 22-year-old attacker who might be planning to leave the German
side.
The
World Cup winner was also linked with the Gunners before his move to Bayern
from Borussia Dortmund few years ago. Arsenal boss is keen to bolster his squad for next season
as he is eyeing to win the Premier League title before retiring from Arsenal managerial
seat.
Manchester
United and Chelsea are also linked with several of attacking midfielders and
might enter the race once Gotze gives a hint for his move.
United
boss Louis van Gaal might be selling Angel di Maria this summer and then could head
towards Gotze. Di Maria was signed on a record breaking fee last summer but
after his failure in the Premier League he is expected to leave the club.
Gotze
has been superb for the German side this season, he has scored nine goals in 30
Bundesliga appearances.
