Arsenal
boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed that three of his loan players will return at
the end of the season to Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal
confirmed the three attackers Lukas Podolski, Joel Campbell and Yaya Sanogo will return
soon from their loan spells in the summer.
Podolski
is currently at Inter Milan. The German attacker is not happy at San Siro as he
is not getting enough time on the field.
Joel
Campbell who joined La Liga side Villarreal in January is also likely to return
and is hoping to get a chance in Arsenal’s first team.
While
Yaya Sanogo made several appearances for the Gunners in the first half of the season
but failed to impress the boss, he was also loaned in the winter window to Premier League Crystal Palace.
Wenger
said that they are not close in signing any player and will probably keep all
the players who are on loan.
“We
are not close to signing anybody”
However,
he further added that they will have to sell some of the players as the squad
is too big.
“We
have a very big squad, so we need to lose some players as well.”
He
also included the names of the loan players as a part of the squad.
“We
have a big squad now, we have Podolski away, Campbell, Sanogo will come back.”
Arsenal have been linked with several players but the French boss denied that nobody is on the way to Gunners except these three.
