Liverpool
boss Brendan Rodgers has set his eyes on Borussia Dortmund forward Ciro
Immobile, according to reports.
The
Daily Mail claimed that the
Merseyside Reds are keeping close tabs on former Serie A star and are planning
for a summer move.

Immobile
joined the German side last summer after impressing in Serie A last season with
Torino. He scored 22 goals in Serie A last term.
Liverpool
are already suffering with striking problems despite of having three senior
strikers. Mario
Balotelli has failed to fulfil the expectations while Rickie Lambert has not enough quality. Daniel Sturridge who has missed most of his games
this season due to injuries is the only striker from whom a goal can be expected, however,
he is not in his top form at the moment, may be due to injuries.
The
Reds surely need a goal machine like Immobile who has been struggling with playing
time in Bundesliga.
The
German side are also reportedly planning to sell him in the summer for a fee around
£17million.
The
25-year-old has scored only three goals in 19 league appearances but was superb
in Champions League campaign, he netted four in six games.
Meanwhile,
Liverpool are also keeping tabs on Porto striker Jackson Martinez.
