Liverpool
boss Brendan Rodgers is keeping tabs on Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson,
according to Metro.
The
Englishman is currently on a loan deal at West Ham United and will return to
Emirates at the end of the season.
The
23-year-old has been impressing at the Upton Park, he has made 25 appearances
in the Premier League so far this term.
The
Gunners have no plans to keep the player and with West Ham interested in his
services they are certainly going to offload him permanently.
Liverpool
have also joined the race, as per the latest reports. The media claim that the
Reds could beat the Hammers if they take the interest seriously.

The
Sun reported that the Reds manager is keen to bolster his defensive area. Also,
current right-back Glen Johnson is said to be on his way out of Anfield this
summer.
Jenkinson has no place at Emirates as Arsenal
have already developed a new star Hector Bellerin for the right back role. The Spanish
youngster has been playing tremendously in the absence of Mathieu Debuchy.
Bellerin
has been eyed by Barcelona for the summer window as Daniel Alves’ replacement.
Alves is being targeted by many Premier League sides including Liverpool, Manchester
United and Arsenal.
Liverpool
recently entered the race to sign the Brazilian on a free summer deal.
