United boss Louis van Gaal has revealed the injury updates on his players ahead
of Aston Villa clash tomorrow at Old Trafford.
Manchester
boss LVG is eyeing to snatch the third spot from Arsenal who will face Liverpool
tomorrow at Emirates Stadium. The Old Trafford side are confident to beat the Villains as
they are coming with a great victory over Liverpool at Anfield in last Premier League game.
The Red Devils are doubtful on defender Chris Smalling for the tomorrow’s Premier
League against Aston Villa.
The
English defender was taken off while representing his country in a friendly
game against due to sickness. Italy earlier this week.
Smalling
and Phil Jones both have proved to be the best partnership for the Red Devils
so far this term.
Meanwhile,
Dutch striker Robin van Persie is set to return to full training in the coming
days. The former Arsenal striker has returned from his ankle injury but is yet
to achieve full fitness.
Radamel
Falcao is likely to get another chance to prove himself in the Premier League.
Also,
left-back Luke Shaw has returned from an injury as the Englishman trained at
Carrington earlier this week.
LVG
told MUTV: “There is only Smalling, who is ill” but also added that if he trained
today then he is likely to return to first team action. While the other two are out at the moment.
