Danny
Rose has been targeted by Manchester City as a replacement of Aleksandar
Kolarov who is expected to move back to Serie A with Lazio taking interest in
him.

Rose
who has spent his last seasons away from Spurs on loan has finally cemented his
place in the starting lineup under boss Mauricio Pochettino. He has started 24 league games this season for
the London side.
While, Gael
Clichy who is currently playing the left-back role at City has not been
impressive this season. Boss Manuel Pellegrini is planning to sign Rose to give
Clichy a tough competition for that full-back role.
Rose
has scored two goals and assisted four in his 25 Premier League appearances.
His
impressive performances has also given him a call from England boss Roy
Hodgson. The Englishman who is playing his sixth season at Spurs has finally established
a place. An offer from the Citizens would definitely make his mind for a move
as the blue side of Manchester would double his current wage.
Spurs
manager Pochettino is keen to keep the player but if City continue their
interest then they will splash big cash to secure his deal.
