Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is already in link with his side PSV for the summer
move, however, recent reports have added Liverpool in the race. The Reds are
planning a £20million bid for his services.
The
Netherlands international has netted 22 goals in 32 games for PSV Eindhoven.
LVG
who managed Depay during the World Cup is now losing the race, according to Dutch
football pundit Marcel van der Kraan who said Liverpool are in front of the queue.
Van
der Kraan told revealed that Liverpool scouts have been spotted in Eindhoven. He told: “People
think Louis van Gaal will take him, but the fact that Liverpool scouts are in
Eindhoven almost every week to watch the player signals to me that Liverpool
are a strong contender for the boy.”
Reports
might have linked the Red Devils strongly but the Merseyside Reds are certainly
keeping close tabs.
Liverpool
star player Raheem Sterling is already in link with a summer move, and Depay
could become his instant replacement.
Sterling
has rejected new deal in the recent weeks and is now being eyed by Arsenal and
