Serie A side Lazio are taking interesting in Southampton star Graziano Pelle,
according to Italian media Corriere dello
Sport.
The
Italian side are planning to bring him back to Italy in the summer window
despite of knowing the exceptional form of the English side Southampton this
season.
The
Saints are on sixth spot in the Premier League table, six points behind the
fourth place side Manchester United.
The
Saints signed Pelle from Feyenoord for a fee around £9 million last summer. He
has been a vital player for them, he has scored eight Premier League goals in
30 games. In total, he has scored nine goals in 33 appearances.
The
29-year-old Italian has played for several Italian sides in his career including
Parma.
Lazio
are taking keen interest in him, however, Southampton boss Ronald Koeman is
confident that the player sis happy in England and will not leave this summer.

that Lazio are eyeing him as a replacement of German striker Miroslav Klose who
is in link with a move to Premier League.
