Premier
League side Arsenal are taking interest in Roma centre-back Kostas Manolas,
according to several reports.
Metro reported that Arsenal
are preparing a £15million offer for the summer move of Roma defender Kostas Manolas.
The
23-year-old has been in link with the Gunners for the past few months. He was
linked in the January window, however, the move failed to take place.

Roma
signed him last summer from Greek outfit Olympiacos. The player has been an
outstanding performer for the Italian side.
The
Serie A outfit are keen to keep the centre-half, while Gunners boss Arsene
Wenger is confident that a £15million will be enough to secure his deal.
His
agent Ioannis Evangelopoulos told that his client has a contract until 2019 at
the moment.
He
further said that all questions regarding Manolas’ future should be asked from Roma’s
sporting director Walter Sabatini.
He
told Tuttomercatoweb: “Ask
Sabatini if there’s genuine interest.”
Manolas
has been eyed as an alternative of Dortmund defender Mats Hummels who is
expected to prefer a move to Manchester United this summer.
Meanwhile,
Arsenal are not the only side taking interest in Manolas, Man Utd are also
keeping tabs and could fight Arsenal in the end.
