Tottenham Hotspur are so desperate to get Emmanuel Adebayor off their books they are willing to
let him go for free.
The
Togo international has struggled under new manager Mauricio Pochettino who is happy to listen to offers for the striker.
Adebayor
has played just 16 times this season in all competitions and has only found the
back of the net twice.

With the emergence of Harry Kane and the club actively looking for a new striker, the future for Adebayor is looking bleak.
Clubs
are being put off by the players £100,000-a-week wages, to combat this Daniel
Levy is willing to cut his losses and let him go for free.
Levy
being the wise businessman that prized a world record fee for Gareth Bale, he
will try his best to get some sort of fee for the 31-year-old.
With
a year left on his current deal in North London the club may even hold onto the
player as he has a notorious record of having a good season when he is in the
last year of his contract.
If
Pochettino fails to bring in a new striker he may take a leaf out of his
predecessor Tim Sherwood’s book who managed to get Adebayor firing last season.
Adebayor
is known to be a high profile player in the dressing room and can cause major
issues as Andre Villas Boas found out, so many clubs may be put off in wanting
to bring him to their club.
