London
side Chelsea are keeping close tabs on Valencia midfielder Andre Gomes for the
summer move, as per Daily Mirror.
The
Mirror reported that the 21-year-old midfielder is one of the top young
midfielders of 2014-2015 season. He has been eyed by top European sides including
Chelsea.
The
former Benfica midfielder signed a long term deal in the start of this year
which has a release clause of €50 million.
Gomes
was singed on a loan deal and his consistent performance in the Spanish League could
not stop the La Liga side Valencia to seal his permanent deal in January.
The
21-year-old has scored four goals in 24 La Liga games for Valencia this season.
Manchester United are also said to be interested in his move, however, Chelsea manager
Jose Mourinho is confident that he will secure his summer deal.
Valencia
are keen to keep their star player but a big fee as expected from the Blues
will change their mind.
On
the other hand, Lazio star Felipe Anderson is also being eyed by Chelsea. They
are hoping a €16 million deal for the 21-year-old.
Anderson has
scored nine goals in 13 Serie A starts for Lazio this season.
