Liverpool are set to beat Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United for Paris Saint Germain striker Edinson Cavani, as per the reports.
Edinson Cavani has been on several club’s radar in the past few months due to his struggling time in France.
The Uruguayan is a regular player but is not satisfied with his role. He is a central forward but has been playing on the left side since his move from Napoli due to the presence of Zlatan Ibrahimovich. His agent also confirmed in the past that he could leave the club in the summer.
Arsenal have been strongly linked with him but the recent reports claim keen interest from Liverpool boss Brenden Rodgers.
The Reds have been struggling in front of goals this season, all the strikers have failed to prove. Mario Balotelli who was signed with high hopes in the summer has also failed. While Daniel Sturridge has missed many games due to injury. Recently, he suffered an injury again and is out for a month.
It is also reported that Raheem Sterling could be on his way out which will open the doors for Cavani.
Sterling has not signed a new deal as he is demanding more than £100,000-a-week. And Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are all keeping tabs on his situation.
