Harry Kane has been all over the news in the past
few months but for the right reasons. His impressive performances for his club
Tottenham Hotspurs has earned him a few praises not only from his club mates
but also from football experts and coaches. Basically from everyone in the
footballing world.
What many assumed to be a purple patch for the
young lad from England turned out to be something much more spectacular with 30
goals this season already which also includes his debut goal for England,
surely you can’t say that he is lucky. Well we all know he is a fighter, he had
to fight his way into the playing eleven for Tottenham and had to convince his
boss to play him frequently. And his hard work has surely paid off with his
results weekly.
But is Harry Kane a needle in a haystack? Or has he
set a trend that the proud footballing nation of England has more budding and
talented youngsters to follow? England a passionate footballing country always
has produced talented players like David Beckham, Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard. But after some point that talent just stopped with players who we
thought had a lot of promise just turned out to be mediocre. But with the
current bunch of England youngsters that is Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling, Ross Barkley and so on are proof that England has some great upcoming talents.
This young lot has broken the stereotype of
England being a very one dimensional team which the past was being a very slow
paced team, lacked bite upfront and therefore didn’t do really well against top
European and South American Teams as those nations had pacey and skillfully
talented players. But With the introduction of these young talents, England has
a lot more to offer making them not physically strong which they always were,
but also now technically strong.
Love
him or loathe him, Harry Kane has not only proven that he is a force to be
reckoned with in the years to come, but also showing the world that England has
a lot of young and talented footballers cropping up and the footballing world
better be prepared for it. Brazil and Germany national team have all
talented youngsters in their squad and it seems with England also coming up
with a few youthful talents themselves it could just be the start of something
very exciting for the national team.
