Arsenal
fans will be happy this weekend as trio stars Jack Wilshere, Mathieu Debuchy
and Mikel Arteta have returned from their respective injury problems.
Wilshere,
Debuchy and Arteta all three featured in a friendly game against Brentford on Tuesday.
English
midfielder Wilshere opened the goal scoring before leaving the field in the half
time. While, midfielder Arteta was introduced in the second half.
Arsenal
veteran midfielder Abou Diaby also returned after his injury spells on the
sidelines. The player has picked up 42 injuries in his entire Arsenal career.
Wilshere
has not featured for the Gunners first team in a competitive game since last November while skipper
Arteta has also been out for a similar period with a calf injury.
Summer
signing Debuchy also suffered few injuries this term but his shoulder injury in
January kept him out for almost two months.
The
Gunners will face Liverpool this weekend and Arsene Wenger is likely not to
rush these players.
Meanwhile,
striker Danny Welbeck is a doubt for this game due to knee injury. The medical
staff have hopes from the former Manchester United that he will return to face
the Reds.
Arsenal
are on third spot and are six points above Liverpool and a point above
Manchester United. A win for an away side could snatch Arsenal's place.
