outfit Arsenal are keen to sign Brazilian star Roberto Firmino from Hoffenheim in
the summer window, according to several reports.
German
newspaper Bild revealed that Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and French big
spenders Monaco are also in the race to sign Hoffenheim star but Arsenal are
likely to win the race.

The
Bundesliga side are demanding €25 million for the attacking midfielder.
But recent reports revealed that Bayern Munich have now taken a step back from
the race. Sporting director Matthias Sammer revealed in an interview that
they are not interested in the Brazilian star.
Sammer told Bild: “Firmino is a great
player, but these stories have originated with his agent. We are not interested
in signing Firmino.”
The
23-year-old has been impressive for the German side, he has netted six goals
and assisted seven time in his 24 Bundesliga games so far this season.
He
has also been named in the Brazil senior squad for the friendly games against
Chile and France.
While, Firmino
is expected to take Santi Cazorla’s role at Arsenal as the Spaniard is also
been in link with his homeland clubs. Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simone is keeping
tabs on him for the summer move.
Firmino
has scored 47 goals in 143 appearances for Hoffenheim since his move from Figueirense
in 2010.
