Arsenal
are moving closer in their pursuit for Palermo attacker Paulo Dybala as the President
of Palermo confirmed interest.
Arsenal
have been in link with the Argentinean since the January window and are now set
to agree a principal deal with the Italian club for their star player’s summer
move.
The
Palermo chief Zamparini revealed that a €40 million bid has been made from a
club but the player has not agreed to join a new club.
Zamparini
told Radio Due: “Has Dybala already been picked up by Juve? Absolutely not.”
He
further added: “I already have a €40m offer in my hand, but if someone else gets
into the race then we’ll see what happens.”
“Were Manchester
United behind this offer? I won’t tell you the name of the club, not even if
you torture me!”
Zamparini
rejected to tell the name of the club which bided such huge offer.
Premier
League sides Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal all are in the race and
could be one of them.
While the Metro reports believe that Arsenal are likely to win the race for the 21-year-old
Serie A star.
