Arsenal
veteran midfielder Tomas Rosicky is expected to leave the club at the end of
the season, as per Evening Standard.
The
former Dortmund star revealed that he has been spending frustrating time at
Emirates Stadium and always wanted to leave the club.
With
already so much competition in the squad there is surely not a regular place
for Rosicky.
Rosicky
has admitted that he was ready to leave in the past and now he can leave in the
summer window.
Rosciky
told Czech media iSport.cz: “We’d talked about me leaving in previous
meetings back in September and October, but then the market closed and I
couldn't do anything.”
The
34-year-old has made 14 Premier League appearances so far this term, scoring
two in them. He has started only five league games.
Rosciky
also added that there is still a possibility that he might stay for next
season.
He
added that the season is running very fast and he will have to decide his
future soon, he still has two options, one to stay at Arsenal and other to
leave. He hinted that he could stay for another season.
He has made more than 200 appearances for the Gunners since his move from Borussia Dortmund in 2006. He has won FA Cup and Community Shield for the Gunners.
