Big
spenders Manchester City are planning to sign Arsenal struggling midfielder
Jack Wilshere, according to several English reports.
Sunday
Mirror reported that the Premier League defending Champions are weighing up a
32 million euro move for the English midfielder.
The
23-year-old has struggled this season with injury. He suffered an ankle injury
last November and is yet to return to first team action.
Wilshere has only made nine Premier League appearances so far this season.
While
Manchester City are eyeing him as they are doubtful over Yaya Toure’s future. The Ivorian international has been linked with
Paris Saint-Germain. Also, former Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard will also likely to return to his parent side New York City in the summer.
City
have already bought several of Arsenal star players in the past few years including
Emmanuel Adebayor, Samir Nasri and the
recent one Bacary Sagna, one more move would not surprise anyone.
While
Liverpool are also taking interest in Arsenal academy product.
Arsene
Wenger is likely to sell him if a right offer comes and the reports claim that
the Citizens are planning a 32 million euro deal.
Wilshere
returned to training few weeks ago but is yet to make a comeback to first team.
