Liverpool
star Raheem Sterling has refused to talk about his new deal until the end of
the season, as per several reports.
Sterling
who is one of the top performer for the Reds so far this season has attracted
many big clubs including La Liga giants Real Madrid.
Sterling has scored six goals and assisted seven time in 26 Premier League starts this
season.
Meanwhile,
Chelsea are also keeping tabs and could launch an offer in the summer window.
The
Mirror reported that the Englishman is not willing to seal a new deal during
this season, he could be waiting for an offers from the interested parties.
The
20-year-old is currently on £35,000-a-week deal and reportedly refused to sign a
five year deal of £100,000-a-week wage last month.
However, boss Brendan Rodgers is confident that Raheem Sterling will seal new deal
soon and will bring an end to it.
Rodgers
told that they will now restart the talks in the summer, currently the player
is concentrating on the game.
Furthermore,
Liverpool boss said that he is so relaxed for Sterling who has two years left
on his current contract despite of knowing that Real Madrid and Chelsea are
keeping close tabs on the player and could land him with the help of big money.
