Manchester
United have been facing injury problems since the start of the season. Recently,
few more players including Robin van Persie has joined the injury list.
Midfielder
Michael Carrick was the only player out for the past few weeks but recently Robin
van Persie suffered a knock while playing against Swansea City in a
Premier League last weekend.
The
former Arsenal man who is yet to find his form this season will be out for few weeks.
Meanwhile,
young striker James Wilson has also picked up an injury while representing the
under 21 side of Manchester United on Monday against Sunderland. Wilson
suffered a leg injury just after the 39 minutes at the Stadium of Light.
The
19-year-old is not a regular player for the Red Devils but it would be a big
blow as Radamel Falcao is still not up to the expectations while Wayne Rooney
has been playing in a deeper role.
Wilson
has netted two goals in 16 Premier League appearances under Dutch boss Louis
van Gaal.
Louis
van Gaal’s suffered with the defensive injuries in the first half of the season
and it seems he would have to struggle in front of goals after the injury to the
duo strikers.
