Arsenal
boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is out
for two weeks through his hamstring injury.
The Welshman suffered the hamstring injury earlier this month, it was the third injury for Arsenal in the New Year.
Arsenal
manager Arsene Wenger said that he has a hamstring strain, and they are yet to
find the underlying reason.
Ramsey
will miss the coming Champions League game against French side AS Monaco on Wednesday but is keen to return before the next leg in France.
The
24-year-old suffered the injury while playing a Premier League game against Leicester
City few weeks ago. He was tipped to be out for atleast six weeks but now the
Gunners are hoping his early return than the predicted time.
Ramsey’s
back to back injuries has not allowed him to find the form that he showed last
season but despite of that he has managed to scored three goals and two assists
in 14 starts in the Premier League.
Meanwhile,
Jack Wilshere is likely to take part against Monaco. He returned last week from
injury but is yet to feature for the first team.
