Andre
Schurrle joined Wolfsburg in the winter transfer window to play regular football.
The fee Bundelsiga paid for the World Cup winner was around £24.6 million.
Schurrle
failed to cement his place in the starting lineup at Stamford Bridge and
decided to leave as Jose Mouinrho clearly said that he has no place for him in
the lineup.
Schurrle told that he wanted to stay at Chelsea but last month changes his mind because
he wanted to play football.
The
German star netted 14 goals in 67 appearances for the London side after leaving
Bayer Leverkusen for £18 million.
He
further said that he had a good time at Chelsea, he had a good debut season and
then he lifted the World Cup last summer trophy but the illness in the start of
this season moved him behind. The Blues continued to perform at the same level
and Jose never gave him a consecutive run of fixtures.
The
24-year-old is keen to play regular football in Bundesliga and help his new side
Wolfsburg in achieving their targets.
