Manchester
United are now considering a move for Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi,
according to Tuttosport.
The
Red Devils have targeted Mauro Icardi after knowing that they are likely to lose
the race for Palermo star Paulo Dybala.
Dybala
has been one of the top target but Sky Italia claimed earlier today that the Gunners are leading the race for the Argentinean.
Inter
Milan are also in the race to sign Dybala. The Serie A side are looking him as Icardi’s
replacement.
The
Red Devils have been suffering in front of goals this term, on loan striker Radamel
Falcao has failed to impress in the Premier League and is likely to be offloaded
back to Monaco in the summer, while Robin van Persie has also not performed
upto the expectations this season. The Dutchman has netted 10 goals in 24 Premier
League games.
Icardi who is tipped to be sold for a big money has netted 14 goals in 20 Serie A games for Inter Milan so far this season. He is the joint top scorer in the league with Juventus striker Carlos Tevez.
Also from the reports, Chelsea and Liverpool are keeping tabs on Icardi.
