Arsenal
are hoping to get some trophies with the arrival of injured Theo Walcott and
Mesut Ozil back in their squad.
Ozil
and Walcott only appeared in less than 10 matches for Arsenal this season. Both
faced injury problems and weren’t able to feature much for the Gunners this
term.
The
duo restarted their campaign with a win of 3-2 over Brighton on Sunday which
led them into the fifth round of FA Cup. Walcott’s goal in this match was his
first goal since his New Year ’s Day goal last year.
Walcott
had a cruciate ligament injury which let him out of the action for over 12
months. Ozil also had a knee problem. He made his first start since October.
Arsenal’s
squad is strengthen by the return of Walcott and Ozil. The return of Oliver
Giroud, Laurent Koscielny and Aaron Ramsey is also a boost for the Gunners.
Arsenal
have to play Monaco in the Champions League in the round of 16 later in the
month. And they are currently sitting at fifth spot in
the Premier league, 13 points behind Chelsea.
Arsenal will look to come up in the table and try to make into the quarter finals of the Champions League. With the return of their key players, Arsenal has a bright chance to get their goals.
