According
to reports, Totonto FC is on the verge of signing a big name this year.
Canadian Sports Network TSN reports that the MLS club is about to finalise a
deal with Italy international star Sebastian Giovinco.
Giovinco
is currently playing for Juventus. He is closing his deal with Toronto FC and
only financial terms are left to be discussed.
The
27-year-old forward has struggled this season and made only six appearances for
a total of 184 minutes only. He is furious due to lack of playing time. Premier
League duo Arsenal and Tottenham, and Serie A trio Napoli, Fiorentina and
Torino are looking in this matter and are willing to get Giovinci.
Giovinco’s
agent Andrea D’Amico said last week that there are many teams interested in him
and want to get him in their ranks. He further said that he discussed every
detail and analysed different conditions with his client Sebastian because
choosing a new club is not an easy task.
The
Italian International player has always been linked with a move to Premier
League but due to his poor form he is now consider as a backup of Carlos Tevez,
Alvaro Morata and Fernando Llorente at Juventus.
For
Toronto FC, Giovinco is a very valuable asset and they will try to finalise his
deal as shortly as possible.
