Manchester
United boss Louis van Gaal has denied the links between Real Madrid and his goalkeeper
David de Gea by saying that Victor Valdes is signed as a second goalkeeper.
Reports
have strongly linked David de Gea with a move away from Old Trafford with Real
Madrid interested in his services.
After
the signature of former Barcelona stopper Victor Valdes, reports have further linked
Real Madrid with De Gea. The Los Blancos has been eyeing him since long as a replacement
of their veteran keeper Iker Casillas.
Red
Devils boss now has cleared that the arrival of Victor Valdes does not mean a departure
of their current goalkeeper first choice keeper. Valdes
has been signed as a backup keeper for De Gea and will help him with his vast experience.
But
his arrival definitely means a departure of Anders Lindegaard and Ben Amos. Both
the stoppers were already linked with a move away from Old Trafford in the past
and with the arrival of Valdez it clearly means a goodbye message from the duo.
Earlier signature of Valdez gives so much time for both of them to find a right club for their future. Still around 20 days left in this transfer window.
