Premier
League outfit Liverpool have set their eyes on Paris Saint Germain attacker Ezequiel
Lavezzi, as per Daily Express.
Eurosport
also revealed an article on the links between Liverpool and Ezequiel Lavezzi
earlier today.
The
French outfit have decided to offload their Argentina attacker this month and
reports claimed that £8million would be enough to secure his move.
PSG
manager Laurent Blanc is weighing up a move for Benfica winger Nicolas Gaitan
which further confirms Lavezzi’s exit.
The
boss Brendan Rodgers has now set his eyes on Lavezzi who is struggling at Parc
des Princes after failing to land Xherdan Shaqiri from Bayern Munich. The Swiss
winger preferred Serie A side Inter Milan over Liverpool.
Lavezzi
who was tipped as the next Maradona, however failed to reach such heights but
still has the quality to take Liverpool to a better level.
The
29-year-old signed for the French giants from Napoli in 2012 for a fee around £24million.
He has netted 25 goals and assisted 21 times in his 109 appearances for them.
It
would be a great addition for Liverpool as he can score and assist and can
develop a good partnership with the Liverpool stars.
