Liverpool
are chasing Goodison Park star Ross Barkley, says the Daily Express.
The
Englishman is currently playing for Everton and currently the best player of
his side. According to the several sources, the price tag of Ross Barkley is £60million.
Barkley
is no doubt one of the finest and hottest prospect of European Football but still
the price tag is a bit too high, says the football pundits.
The
21-year-old midfielder is Everton’s first team player since 2010. His
impressive performances has made him one of the highly rated youngster in the
Premier League.
The
poor standing of Everton in this season may force him to think about leaving
and starting his new career somewhere else other than Goodison Park.
Liverpool
are not an alone contender, Chelsea and Manchester City are also very keen to
bring Barkley in their team.
The
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers believes that Ross Barkley is the ideal person to
fill the vacant position of Liverpool’s legend Steven Gerrard. Although it is
very difficult to replace Gerrard but the Irish boss thinks that Barkley has
the talent and skills to help Liverpool to find their winning form.
