Liverpool
skipper Steven Gerrard is likely to join Major Soccer League side LA Galaxy as per
Daily Mail.
The
Daily Mail reported that the MLS club LA Galaxy are ready to capture his
services in the summer after Steven Gerrard announced his decision to leave Liverpool
at the end of the season.
Gerrard
will follow the steps of his compatriot David Beckham after making the toughest
decision of his life yesterday.
La
Galaxy are planning for a four year deal of £100,000-a-week for Gerrard same as
they offered Beckham.
Galaxy
have been keeping close tabs on the Liverpool skipper since November when it
was first reported that he could be on his way out in the summer.
However, many top sides including Bayern Munich are interested in his services. Premier
League sides may also step up despite of knowing that Gerrard will not join
them.
Gerrard
has already told that he will never play against Liverpool which means he will
not join a club that could meet the Reds in future.
While
Red Bulls’ sporting director Gerard Houllier (former Liverpool manager) is also
eyeing to bring Gerrard.
Canadian
outfit Toronto are also keeping tabs on the Liverpool skipper as their star
player Jermain Defoe is set to leave the club.
