Everton
manager Robert Martinez has denied the news linking him with Cardiff City’s
goalkeeper David Marshall.
Martinez
said that he has made enquiries about goalkeepers and he has been doing this
for a while now but no one is finalized yet.
The
search for goalkeeper continues as they are not able to find one so far. The
calf injury of Tim Howard is also a worrying sign for Blues Boss.
But
the speculations are false regarding David Marshall and Martinez links as he
has not made any enquiries for 29-year-old Cardiff City goal keeper.
Martinez
is looking to sign a stopper for long term time period but is yet to find a
right player.
Martinez
is also eying on defender Angelo Fulgini who is also on the target list of
Blues and could be available for €500,000. The 18-year-old right-back plays for
Valenciennes who are currently in France’s ligue 2.
According
to news, James McCarthy is on Arsenal’s radar. Arsene Wenger is looking forward
to get McCarthy in this transfer window.
The
Gunners are already short of midfield players because of the injuries of Jack
Wilshere and Mikel Arteta and this reason has made McCarthy so valuable for the
North London side.
