Arsenal
are finally looking to make Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko as their
first winter signing, according to Daily Express.
The
French midfielder has been impressive in the Premeir League since his move from
Toulouse two years ago. Sissoko who has been compared with the likes of Yaya Toure
is a key player for the Magpies.
Arsene
Wenger is now planning to offer around £15million which is far less than the
demands of Newcastle United.
The
Magpies, however, will not block his move as his desire is to play in the Champions
League bit will not sell him for less than £25million.
Meanwhile, the
25-year-old is also eyed by his homeland side Paris Saints Germain. The
Ligue 1 side who signed Yohan Cabaye from Newcastle are now keen on Sissoko. However,
he is not keen to join PSG due to the regular football.
With
Arsenal already suffering the midfield issues, Sissoko is eyeing to solve them
with his skills and strength.
Alan
Pardew has also parted company with the Magpies which means a clear view of the exit door for their star man.
