According
to the Metro report, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has formally submitted a €2million
bid for Legia Warsaw midfielder Krystian Bielik.
Bielik's representatives also met Arsene Wenger and Arsenal’s squad in the Emirates Stadium during the Christmas break.
Krystian
Bielik has been scouted for many months and is in contact with the North London
club too. The midfielder is expected to move completely to Arsenal by the end
of January.
North
London club also submitted a bid of €1million up front, with a further €1m reliant upon appearances made in the Arsenal first-team. However, Legia
have asked for €3million bid, with a further €1m including
bonuses.
Bielik
himself is willing to move to Arsenal and is very optimistic that the deal will
go through for sure.
He said: "I'd like to go, but on the other hand, approach it calmly."
The teenager also added that the club rejected the first offer is not a big deal.
"I heard that the Legion [Legia] has rejected
Arsenal, but apparently the first offer is always rejected."
This
deal is not finalized yet but it is quite certain that this would be a
successful one as Bielik is also willing to join the Emirates side.
