Arsenal
manager Arsene Wenger revealed the following updates ahead of the FA Cup clash against Premier League side Hull City.
“Honestly, I have to check who is available
and who is not,” said Wenger. “The two keepers, Ospina and Martinez, will come
in.”
The
Frenchman also revealed that he will start with a strong lineup. The lineup
will be almost same as of last Premier League game against Southampton. The
Gunners’ boss told that no one is returning, the same squad will be named against
the Tigers.
While
for the midfielders, Aaron Ramsey, Mikel Arteta, Jack Wilshere and Mesut Ozil all
remain on the sidelines.
Wilshere
remain a long term absentee with his ankle problem but Ozil is expected to be
back this month. Ramsey
and Arteta both could take a much longer time as per the reports. Francis Coquelin is likely to continue in the midfield.
For
strikers, Olivier Giroud will suffer his third and last ban following his red
card against Queens Park Rangers. While Summer
signing Danny Welbeck is set to miss his second game with
a thigh injury. Alexis Sanchez will hopefully continue to lead the attacking
line.
