Arsenal
have finally agreed a deal with Southampton for their star midfielder Morgan
Schneiderlin, according to Express news.
Arsenal
have been in link with Morgan Schneiderlin since the summer window, however
they could not finalized the deal but with the recent reports claimed that the
deal is now finalized and soon it will be officially announced.
Schneiderlin
was linked with numerous clubs including Manchester United and Tottenham but in
the end it is Arsenal who took him at the right time for a fee around £25million.
Saints
manager Ronald Koeman also told that he can leave only if the right offer
comes, reports also suggested that the Red Devils were also ready to splash £25million.
The 25-year-old also said that he wants to leave the club for Champions
League football.
Express quoted The Secret Footballer who tweeted:
“My understanding is that they have
an agreement already in place with Schneiderlin.”
With
Express further reported that Reading star Dave Kitson is likely to be behind
this tweet but it will not be confirmed easily.
While
former Manchester United defender Gary Neville admired the French player that he
is capable of representing any top side in the Premier League which hints a
move away from the Saints this month.
“I think he could play at any of the
top clubs in the league, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United or Arsenal
- he's showed his quality this season.”
