As
per Fichajes report, English outfit Arsenal are ready to seal the deal for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan as they have submitted a strong bid of £15million.
With Dortmund are struggling
in the Bundesliga this season, Ilkay Gundogan is eyeing a move away from Signal
Iduna Park. They are currently on 17th spot with only
15 points in 17 games.
The
German star has also been eyed by Arsenal's rival Manchester United who were reportedly having strong links with him in the past week.
Arsenal boss Arsene
Wenger who has now submitted an official bid is waiting for the response
despite of knowing that the German side have put a £25million price tag on
their player.
Reports
further claim that Dortmund are likely to accept atleast £20million. However,
Gunners’ French boss is confident on the bid of £15million and believes that it
would be enough to secure this move.
Arsenal
have targeted many players including William Carvalho and Moussa Sissoko who
both have been admired by Wenger in the past.
Sissoko,
the Newcastle United man, has already expressed his desire to play for the
north London side and reports also revealed yesterday that this move is likely
to take place in the coming week.
