Tottenham
Hotspurs are set to seal Adrien Rabiot loan deal, according to French newspaper
Le Parisien.
Paris Saints Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot has been one of the hottest prospect
for the past few months. Reports have linked the youngster with Arsenal and
Liverpool but now Tottenham Hotspurs are likely to seal his loan deal
for the rest of the season.
Spurs
Director of Football Franco Baldini is reportedly close on agreeing the deal
with the French side for Rabiot.
Paul
Mitchell, the new head of recruitment and analysis at White Hart Lane, is
eyeing Rabiot as a key signing of the winter window, according to Le Parisien. Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is also a big admirer of the 19-year-old.
The London side will be without two midfielder is the coming weeks, Ryan Mason is
injured while Nabil Bentaleb will be leaving for the Africa Cup of Nations. Brazilian
midfielder Paulinho is also likely to return to his homeland.
Rabiot
who signed a long term deal few months ago is eyeing a move for regular football.
He has made only six appearances so far this season.
Spurs
are confident to seal the deal in the next few days. But according to football columnist
Matt Spiro, the deal will be only for six month. PSG will take their
starlet back in the summer.
