Newcastle
United midfielder Moussa Sissoko has expressed his desire to join Paris Saint-Germain in an interview with French magazine
Chronicle
reported that Moussa Sissoko has already open his doors for a move away from James
Park. The Frenchman also expressed his desire to join Arsenal few weeks ago,
however Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger did not show any interest in him, still the
reports believe that Wenger is keeping tabs on him and could land him in the
end.
Sissoko
has been a vital player for the Magpies since his move from Toulouse in 2012.
The
25-year-old who wants to play Champions League football will not be a popular
figure anymore with his publicly comments for a move.
He
is quoted having said, “If a club wants
me, they will discuss it with my agent and with my club. Would the club let me
go? There are many things that come into play.”
The
French midfielder is keen to join a bigger club for Champions League football
and his agent has already started contacting several top sides.
“My goal is to play at one of the
biggest clubs, but it is not up to me. It would take an interested club to talk
with Newcastle and with my agent so that everyone agrees on it.”
However,
PSG are not keen for him, but could sign him as a bench warmer. Newcastle will also not block his move but will not allow him to leave for less than £20million.
Sissoko
also added in the end that England remains his favourite destination, but a
move to France would also be great.
Sissoko
also said, “I want to stay here and grow
in the biggest clubs here in England. This is a championship that I like and
where I feel good.”
