Belgian giants Anderlecht have reached an agreement with Chelsea for their attacker Marko
Marin, according to Belgian newspaper HLN.
Marin
joined Chelsea from German side Werder Bremen in 2012, however the player
failed to make a name at Stamford Bridge, with only appearing 15 times in all
competitions. He
later moved on a loan deal to Sevilla and then currently with Fiorentina.
The
attacking midfielder is now reportedly leaving the Serie A side Fiorentina this
month with Chelsea agreeing to a new loan deal for their German attacker. Fiorentina are also in contention of sending him back as he failed to impress in Italy too Marin is yet to play a Serie A game. He has only started two Europa
League games so far this term.
Marin
who was tipped as the German Messi in the past is now suffering with his
footballing career. However he would be a great addition for Anderlecht as they can bring the most of him.
Chelsea
boss Jose Mourinho has denied to keep him at Stamford Bridge but the
25-year-old can make prove himself on loan spells. With his injury problems, the
chances of becoming a potential player are decreasing now.
The
former Werder Bremen star also made 16 appearances for this national side
Germany.
