The
Times have reported that Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli will be leaving the
Anfield side as Juventus are showing strong interest in him.
Liverpool
signed the Italian striker from AC Milan for a fee around £16million in the summer.
However, Balotelli has failed to prove himself in the Red shirt. He is yet to
find his first Premier League goal despite of making 10 appearances.
Juventus
manager Massimiliano Allegri said that he wants to buy Balotelli on loan with
an option to seal his deal permanently in future for £14million.
Allegri
said: “We would like to recruit him, but we do not know if it is possible.”
Allegri
signed Balotelli from Manchester City when he was managing AC Milan. The boss
added that he spent a good season with me at Milan.
The
manager praised his former player by saying: “All coaches love to lead the best
players.”
But
Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta declared: “Balotelli is not the
player we are willing to buy, we will go forward with this group, Balotelli is
not what we are seeking.”
Marotta
would not block the Balotelli's move but would not stop his search for a World
Class forward.
While
Liverpool are planning to bring back Divock Origi from Ligue 1 side Lille. The Belgian
starlet was loaned just after his summer move. The Reds bought
him for £10million from Lille in the summer and are likely to bring him back for £3million.
