Italian
giants Inter Milan have agreed to sign Bayern Munich struggling winger Xherdan
Shaqiri, as per latest reports.
The Swiss winger has been linked with Liverpool since the summer window. Last week reports also claimed that Liverpool are leading the race but Inter Milan who started taking interest last month are finally set to announce the agreement between both the sides.
English side Liverpool were strongly linked with him in the summer after his impressive performances in the World Cup but the Bundesliga outfit refused to sell their bench warmer.
Shaqiri
has always been found as a struggling player at the Allianz Arena. Since his 2012
move from FC Basel, he has made 130 appearances but majority are from the
bench.
This
season, he has made 15 appearances for Bayern in all competitions but started
only 5 of them.
SkySports
also revealed earlier today that Bayern Munich who were looking to sell their
23-year-old winger are now likely to send him to Inter on a six month loan deal
with an option to buy him in future for £12million.
