Reports
have revealed that Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is waiting for an
offer from Real Madrid.
The
La Liga giants have been eyeing him since the summer as a replacement of their
veteran stopper Iker Casillas but United have always succeeded in keeping their
top performer.
De
Gea who admitted that he wants to stay at Old Trafford has changed his
mind after the arrival of his compatriot Victor Valdez. Manchester United signed former Barcelona keeper Valdes yesterday on a free transfer on an
18 month deal.
De
Gea has been a top performer for the Red Devils since the start for the season.
He has saved United several times this season.
United
manager Louis van Gaal has signed Valdes as a backup but his arrival could
mean a departure of De Gea.
The
24-year-old Spaniard was tipped few weeks ago that he will sign a new big deal
at United as the boss is keen to keep him in England but the recent reports in
Spain claimed that De Gea has been stalling to pen new deal as he is expecting
bumper offer from Los Blancos.
Madrid
could offer £25million for United’s star performer who has managed six clean
sheets in 20 games for Untied despite of the worst start of the season.
