Newcastle
United midfielder Moussa Sissoko might stay at James Park as boss John Carver
is keen to keep him.
The
transfer market has just two days to go and the desire of Moussa Sissoko is yet
to complete. He has stated several times for a move to a better club for
Champions League football.
Premier
League side Arsenal and French giants Paris Saint-Germain have been his desired
next clubs, however both of them have not shown any serious interest.
Arsenal
are yet to sign a defensive midfielder and reports claim that Arsenal
boss Arsene Wenger could make a bid in the end to get his deal done for a cheap
price, however Newcastle will not sell him for less than 20 million pounds.
“Arsenal has always been the club of
my heart”
Carver is hopeful that the Frenchman would stay to help him in climbing
the table.
The interim Magpies boss said: “If you see the way he plays and
trains, I'm telling you now - he's going nowhere, He's focused and he's got his
mind on the job. He's been first class.”
Carver
further added that the transfer deals are upto the chief scout Graham Carr and managing
director Lee Charnley.
Newcastle
will play Hull City tomorrow at KC Stadium, and the boss is hoping to secure
his first win since taking the managerial role at James Park.
