Premier
League side Manchester United are set to offer €25miliion for Atletico Madrid
defender Miranda, according to reports.
United
boss Louis van Gaal has been eyeing to solve defensive issues with
the signature of Miranda.
The
Dutch manager has been in search for a centre-back since the summer but has not
find any perfect player. However, Mats Hummels was linked strongly in the
past.
Miranda
has €30 million release clause on his contract but he could be available for €25million
as his contract expire this summer.
La
Liga side are not willing to keep him as they are expecting atleaset €25million
from the Brazilian.
The
30-year-old played an important part last season for the La Liga outfit who
lifted the League title after 18 years. They also reached the Champions League
final.
Reports
have claimed that Manchester United are planning a bid for Miranda and hopefully
it will be around €25million.
Despite
of his age, LVG is confident that he can give boost to United for the upcoming
years.
Atletico
have already sold Filipe Luís to Chelsea in the summer and now look set to
sell another defender. Diego Godín was also linked with a move away from Spain.
